TheArtificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly present in all areas of life. Previous research has mostly focused on the use of AI from the perspective of students, with almost no research on the attitudes of students - future teachers towards AI. This paper willaims presentto create a shortened version of the findingsoriginal ofquestionnaire athat researchwould conductedmake init 2024easier whichto aimedinvestigate atteachers' investigatingattitudes students' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regardingtowards artificial intelligence (AI),in therebythe assessingfuture. theirA levelstudy was conducted on a sample of AI literacy. AI literacy is recognized as an essential component of contemporary education, involving the ability to interact with AI responsibly and effectively, along with understanding its ethical and social implications. The study sample consists of undergraduate and graduate276 students from the Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and Rijeka, and the Faculty of Teacher Education University of Zagreb, withusing datathe collected through a surveySATAI questionnaire. The primaryresults focusindicate that the shortened form of the researchquestionnaire wascorrelates very well with the subscales within the attitudes of the respondents towards AI in education compared to evaluatethe longer version. The research conclusion supports the depthvalidity of students'the understandingshorter form of AIthe andquestionnaire, itswhose societalvalidity impact.is Itthe investigatedsame theircompared utilizationto the longer version with half the number of AIitems. toolsAccordingly, inteachers learningcan anduse problem-solving,it alongto with theirinvestigate attitudes andrelated ethicalto awareness regarding AI. The results show that students are increasingly usingnew AI tools in their learning process, but the level of awareness of ethical use is still relatively low. This indicates the need for the development of educational programs focusing on the ethical use of AI technology.methods.
